DATA PROTECTION

During registration you accept our data protection notice. By accepting the notice you agree that we may use your personal information for organisation and realization of this event and can give it to our co-operation partners. This includes especially:

1. Preparation of event materials
Your name and institute will be printed on name tags. If you give a talk or poster presentation, we additionally print your submitted abstracts in our program. In order to prepare the event material, we may give your data to our co-operation partners at Kiel University.

2. Processing registration and travel expense reimbursement
The University of Hohenheim will use your contact details for invoicing and, if needed, for travel expense reimbursement by the priority programme.

3. Organisation of catering and child care
If you follow a special diet or need child care during the event, please contact the SPP manager.

You can cancel your registration until 14 days after the registration deadline by sending an email to the SPP manager. Afterwards, we cannot reimburse the registration fee and we will use your data as stated before. Your data will be deleted by cancellation in time or latest after the event and travel expense reimbursement procedure.

Program

The two-and-half day program will include sessions on different topics of adaptive evolution, a poster session and, importantly, sufficient time for discussions.

Posters

Please upload an abstract during registration, if you would like to present a poster.

 

Abstracts

Abstracts for posters and talks may only be submitted during registration as documents (preferably PDF).

Please notice, that no additional abstracts can be submitted after your registration is completed. The steering committee will selected the posters and presentations based on the abstracts after the registration deadline.

We ask the invited speakers and all SPP working groups to submit an abstract for their talk.

 

Travel and accommodation

Please make your own travel arrangements.

We have already blocked 41 rooms for two nights at two different hotels, which can be booked using the code "DFG Meeting". All prices are given per night for a single room with breakfast.

Reimbursement

The SPP covers the fee as well as the costs for accommodation and transportation of SPP members and invited speakers in accordance with the German travel expenses act (Bundesreisekostengesetz). Daily allowance will not be paid and has to be requested from the home institution or university. The deadline for claims is 6 months after travel.

We will also cover the registration fee and travel costs of 15 SPP associated researchers who have a PI in SPP1819. Participants presenting a poster will be favored for reimbursement.
